Charlotte Triage Pro Bono Partnership Sixth Annual Event!

The Charlotte Triage Pro Bono Partnership Sixth Annual Event will take place on September 20, 2023. Leaders from the business and legal community will gather to receive CLE in seven different service areas offered by Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Legal Aid of North Carolina, Council for Children’s Rights, and Safe Alliance.

New Heir Property Pro Bono Projects!

The NCBA Real Property Section, Legal Aid of North Carolina, Pisgah Legal Services, and Land Loss Prevention Project have partnered to develop a clearinghouse of pro bono volunteers to assist legal services clients with heir property issues. Heir property issues include a wide range of both real property and estate planning matters. This project serves individuals who are generally low income, limited English proficient, seniors, and/or rural residents, and their families.
