New Pro Bono Hour Reporting system for 2024!

Attorney Reporting: This year, we have partnered with the North Carolina State Bar to implement a voluntary reporting category through the State Bar CLE annual report process, which will make it easier for lawyers to report their pro bono hours. Please be aware that the former batch reporting process through your firm will no longer be available, so your firm cannot complete this process for you. The only way to report pro bono hours and be considered for the Pro Bono Honor Society will be through the State Bar. For more information, visit https://ncprobono.org/report/

For Paralegals: All North Carolina paralegals, including NCCPs can report their 2023 pro bono hours to the Pro Bono Resource Center directly through the Individual Paralegal Reporting FormThe deadline to report pro bono hours completed in 2023, is March 31, 2024. Paralegals who report at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services completed in 2023, will be recognized through the North Carolina Paralegal Pro Bono Honor Society and with a certificate from the NC Pro Bono Resource Center.

Pro Bono reporting is voluntary and is not limited to certified paralegals. Paralegals interested in sharing their information can learn more and submit their information at ncprobono.org/report/ and clicking on the “Individual Paralegal Pro Bono Reporting Form”.

Want to highlight a member of your Pro Bono Committee?

The Pro Bono Resource Center would love to highlight a member of your Pro Bono Committee, via social media. Please reach out to Sylvia Novinsky and she will follow up with that person.
